1. Purpose
This notice explains how and when Gamu Technologies Inc. (“Gamu”, “we”, “our”) may update its Terms, Policies, or Agreements, and how users will be notified of those changes. By continuing to use the platform after any update, users are agreeing to the revised terms.
2. Right to Modify
Gamu reserves the right to update or revise any of its legal documents, including but not limited to:
- Customer Terms of Service
- Merchant Terms & Conditions
- Driver Terms & Conditions
- Privacy Policy
- Fee & Payout Policies
- Acceptable Use, Refund, and Cancellation Policies
- Any other policy published under gamu.co/en-ca/legal
Updates may reflect changes in business operations, laws, user feedback, technology, or regulatory guidance.
3. How We’ll Notify You
We are committed to transparency. When we update any major policy or agreement, we will:
- Publish the updated version on our official Legal page at gamu.co/en-ca/legal
- Update the “Effective Date” at the top of the document
- Provide a summary of key changes (if substantial)
- Notify users via in-app message, banner, or email, depending on the nature of the update
4. When Changes Take Effect
- Minor updates (such as clarifications or formatting) may be effective immediately upon posting.
- Substantive changes (such as new fees, obligations, or dispute processes) will typically take effect after at least 7 days’ notice, unless required sooner by law or safety concerns.
You are encouraged to review the Legal page regularly.
5. Continued Use = Agreement
By continuing to use Gamu after any policy has been updated, you are accepting the new terms. If you do not agree to the updated version, you should discontinue use of the platform before the new terms take effect.

7. Governing Law
This policy, and all Gamu terms, are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be handled through the courts of British Columbia.
