Steps to Create Your Gamu Account #
1. Download the Gamu app #
Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and search for “Gamu”. Download and install the app on your smartphone.
2. Enter your Canadian phone number #
Open the app and enter your valid Canadian mobile number. Make sure it’s correct — we’ll send a verification code there.
3. Get your 6-digit verification code #
Gamu will instantly send you a text message with a 6-digit code.
4. Enter the code to verify #
Type the code you received into the app to confirm it’s your phone.
5. Create a password #
Now set your own password. For your safety, the password must include:
- At least 8 characters
- One lowercase letter (a–z)
- One uppercase letter (A–Z)
- One number (0–9)
- One special character (like !, @, #, $)
6. Log in to your Gamu app #
After setting your password, you can now log in using your phone number and password.
7. Add your name and email (optional popup) #
Once logged in, a popup will ask for your first name, last name, and email address. You can either:
- Tap “Submit” to complete your profile, or
- Tap “Skip” to do it later
8. You’re all set! #
That’s it. You can now start browsing restaurants, sending gifts, and using Gamu across Canada.
